A finance graduate from the University of Durham in the UK, George Feng, together with Kate Han, went down a different route after university and created the fashion brand Mukzin which has its roots in traditional Chinese culture. In April 2017, Mukzin was invited to be the opening show of Shanghai International Fashion Week and won the event’s “fashion beauty" award. In August 2017, Mukzin was the sole female fashion brand selected by Taobao Maker Festival. The same year, Mukzin cooperated with Universal Pictures to launch the Shanhaicuo fashion series at the 2018 spring/summer Shanghai Fashion Week.
