Lead dancer, vocalist, SB19
As SB19’s main dancer and vocalist, Ken brings edge and innovation to a group aiming for global reach
SB19 has stoked the flames of cultural pride and global ambition with their brand of modern Filipino pop. The five-member group comprises John Paulo Nase—known professionally as Pablo—(leader, vocalist and primary creative director), Stellvester Ajero (main vocalist and performance director), Ken Suson—also known as Felip—(main dancer and vocalist), Josh Cullen Santos (lead rapper and choreographer) and Justin De Dios (vocalist and visual director). In 2025 they swept six major honours at the Filipino Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, Pop Song of the Year for “Dungka!” and Concert & Tour of the Year for Simula at Wakas, underscoring their influence at the forefront of P-pop.
Their artistic output in recent years has been both prolific and acclaimed. Their third EP, Simula at Wakas, released in April 2025, delivered chart-topping singles such as “Dam,” the first Filipino song to debut at number one on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart. They expanded their sound through collaborations with Apl.de.Ap on “Ready,” Gloc-9 on “Kalakal” and Sarah Geronimo on the 2025 single “Umaaligid,” alongside major victories at the Wish 107.5 Music Awards and earlier honours at the Awit Awards for “Gento.”
Their global profile continues to rise. SB19’s 2025 world tour included a sold-out Philippine Arena show and multiple dates across North America and Asia, reflecting the scale of their international fanbase. Their performances of “Gento” and “Mapa” on Japan’s The First Take introduced them to new audiences and helped the tracks chart prominently in the region. Their contributions to Philippine music were formally recognised in October 2024 with the NCCA SUDI Award, where each member received a Murillo Velarde 1734 Map replica for cultural advocacy.
A’TIN, their formidable fan community, secured a second straight championship in the Billboard Fan Army Face-Off and celebrated the group’s historic win as the first Filipino act to be named Favorite Asian Act at the 2024 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. With expanding reach, evolving artistry and unflagging cultural impact, SB19 stands as a defining force in contemporary Filipino music.
