A finalist for the 2017 Children’s Peace Prize, Faye Hasian Simanjuntak founded her non-profit Rumah Faye at age 11. With two locations and four village-level youth forums, the Rumah Faye safe house protects children from trafficking, abuse and exploitation by providing prevention, rescue and rehabilitation programmes that offer health, education and psychological support. The organisation also engages in policy advocacy.
