Aruna uses technology to allow small-scale fishers to sell their catch globally. Co-founded by Farid Naufal Aslam, the company operates throughout Indonesia, so far partnering with more than 15,000 fishing partners. It received $35 million in funding in 2021, reportedly the largest Series A in the agritech and maritime sector, accompanied by a further $30 million in follow-on Series A funding in 2022.
