Driven by his singular mission to solve immigration problems for travellers, Faisal Ariff created BorderPass. An innovative start-up, BorderPass is an app that helps expedites travelers through airports using cloud passports and automated gates, removing the need for the old paper documentation system. For his contributions to ASEAN innovation he won the 2016 Asian Entrepreneurship Award and the Best New Startup award at the Future Travel Experience Asia Awards 2018. Already making waves, BorderPass autogate has been set up in KLIA with the eventual goal of covering all major ASEAN airports over the next five years.
