In 2007, Europa Huang won the 18th Golden Melody Award for Best New Artist with his first folk album Over The Way. He has released five personal albums so far and over the past decade has written lyrics and composed music for many famous singers including Julia Peng, Lala Hsu, Christine Fan and Yoga Lin, and has participated in the creation of many famous musicals. Europe’s works were nominated for Song of the Year in Popular Music Category and Best Composition in Popular Music Category at the 26th Golden Melody Awards, and he served as judge for the 8th Golden Indie Music Awards. Last year, he won the Best Composition Award in the Popular Music Category at the 28th Golden Melody Awards for a song he wrote for Faith Yang called Centrifugal Force. His unique style is acclaimed in popular music circles.
