The co-founder of Sunnies Studios, the spec-tacular brand for affordable and trendy sunglasses established in 2013, Eric was not one to rest on his laurels. His father, Rikki, is a mainstay in the F&B industry, and Eric still helps out with family business managing award-winning restaurants. They are set to launch two more Michelin-starred restaurants in the country: Hawker Chan and Kam’s Roast Goose However, he was adamant he do his own thing. And so he certainly did, veering away from the restaurateur arena, and making big waves in the retail industry. He co-founded Sunnies with his wife, model Bea Soriano Dee, building upon the success of their first brand Charlie’s Apparel. Sunnies proved to be a hit amongst their combined 3.5 million Instagram followers. Sunnies has expanded to include Sunnies Specs and Sunnies Café. Sunnies Specs, as Eric put it, is a game changing optical shop, with four local branches and two outlets in Guam and Vietnam, while Sunnies Café has two locations. They plan to expand to 14 more countries. They also have two children.
