Doris Magsaysay Ho

A formidable and dynamic leader in the shipping and logistics industry, Doris Magsaysay Ho is the president and CEO of the Magsaysay Group of Companies. Holding a master’s degree in Industrial Design and later receiving an honourary doctorate in Humane Arts from her alma mater, Pratt Institute, Magsaysay Ho also serves as a chairperson of Lorenzo Shipping Corporation. Her leadership drove the launch of two key digital innovations aimed at empowering her crew: the new HOOPS wellness app, designed specifically to support the physical and mental health of Magsaysay employees;, and M World, a comprehensive mobile app refresh that streamlines essential services and strengthens community engagement.

Furthermore, she was a pivotal voice at the Shaping the Future of Shipping—Seafarer 2050 Conference in June, sharing her sought-after expertise on retention and career progression within the industry.
