Jeffrey Tung was among the top 20 entertainment idols in China on the network reality show the Idol Producer in 2018. He also participated in a reality television show about studying abroad called Be the Idol on Jiangsu TV in Los Angeles in 2015. In 2017 Jeffrey release a solo single Start to Miss You, followed by the release of original song Too Much in January 2018, for which he was part of the song-writing process.
