Dewi Pringgodani wears many hats. One is her work steering the ship of her father’s mining company. Her father, a military retiree, chanced upon some land in Kalimantan, which he turned into a mining site.

Pringgodani also studied law, equipping herself with the knowledge to comment on legal business matters for her company, and those of national security affairs, as she took her doctorate in criminal law. Then, she founded the Kabarpolisi Media Group which runs several news websites. One of her sites, kabarpolisi.com, informs the public about the accomplishments of Indonesia’s police force.

Pringgodani’s position at the intersection of business, politics and law has made her a respected commentator on national politics and security matters. Above all, when she isn’t juggling her many roles, Pringgodani likes to indulge in fashion, amassing a huge collection of designer bags, couture dresses and branded watches.
