As associate head of the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Professor Ng works closely with other campuses abroad to improve collaboration, and is an advocate of multidisciplinary partnerships for the betterment of society. He was one of the Top Research Scientists Malaysia in 2018, and promoted to full professor aged 34.
