Dennis Tay stands at the forefront of the creative industry in Singapore. The founding CEO of Naiise, a five-year-old retailer of locally designed products, has taken his company from e-commerce to bricks and mortar, with six boutiques in Singapore, Malaysia and the UK. For the 32-year-old, Naiise is more than a purveyor of local goods: "I'd like to see the rise of creative entrepreneurs, designers and craftsmen, and Naiise's goal is to be a platform that enables and empowers these individuals." Naiise will be heading up the retail component of Design Orchard, a project by JTC Corporation, Spring Singapore and the Singapore Tourism Board to nurture local design talents, slated to be completed in late 2018.
