Debra Lam co-founded Society Staples, a social enterprise advocating acceptance and equality for all in society. It has earned the company several awards, including Global Health & Pharma's Best Disability-Focused Social Enterprise - Singapore, and a $100,000 grant from the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise. Debra stepped away from the organisation in 2020.
