Bringing a professional eye to the management of cultural organisations, David Tsui has been the executive director of the Hong Kong Dance Company since 2014.

With experience in a wide range of fields, including finance, HR, property and academia, Tsui has been working in the cultural sector since 2001 for a variety of organisations in both Hong Kong and mainland China. He has been a finance and administration manager of the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, and worked in a variety of leadership roles at Shantou University’s Cheung Kong School of Art & Design.

Tsui is also an educator, teaching courses on the creative industries at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Education University of Hong Kong and Xinghai Conservatory of Music. An examiner of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, he is also the honorary treasurer of the Hong Kong Arts Administrators Association.
