David Lui

David Lui is the former Hong Kong chief executive of asset management giant Schroders Investment Management, a role he took over in 2005 after first joining the company in 1985. Since his retirement, he has been tirelessly devoting his time and resources to serving underprivileged children, with the aim of increasing literacy and social mobility.

Lui has taken up numerous positions on Hong Kong public bodies over the years, including as a member of several different committees at the Securities and Futures Commission. His other roles have included member of the Town Planning Board, Commission on Strategic Development, and Policy Innovation and Coordination Office; member of the listing committee of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange; director of Hong Kong Securities Clearing Company; and director of the Hong Kong Securities Institute.

David Lui is the holder of a Bronze Bauhinia Star.
