Born in Silicon Valley and educated at the same high school as Steve Jobs, it’s no surprise that David Chang, founder of Mindworks Ventures, has technology and finance in his blood. His venture-capital firm currently manages more than US$260 million in assets across three funds, with an impressive investment portfolio that includes two unicorn companies (start-ups worth more than US$1 billion). With Mindworks, David not only looks across Southeast Asia and China for investments in expansion-stage start-ups, but also strives to support entrepreneurship and innovation in Hong Kong. His current portfolio includes Grana and Lalamove, to name just a couple.
