Datuk Amy Search

Datuk Haji Suhaimi Haji Abdul Rahman also known for Amy Search on January 2, 1965, in Batu Pahat, Johor, is a prominent figure in Malaysia’s music scene, celebrated as the lead vocalist of the iconic rock band Search. His charismatic stage appearance and powerful tenor voice have made him an iconic figure in Malaysian rock for over three decades.

Amy’s journey began in the 1980s when Search released their debut album, Cinta Buatan Malaysia, which quickly gained popularity. Their music blends rock with local influences, producing hits like Isabella and Gadisku, which resonate deeply with fans. Amy’s vocal ability has earned him numerous accolades, including the Best Vocal Performance at the Anugerah Industri Muzik.
