Sino Group's Daryl Ng is also a champion of sustainability and heritage conservation
The grandson of founder Ng Teng-fong and the eldest son of company chairman Robert, Daryl Ng is deputy chairman of property conglomerate Sino Group, which comprises three listed companies (Sino Land, Tsim Sha Tsui Properties and Sino Hotels Holdings) as well as privately held companies. He is also chairman of Singapore-listed beverage and investment giant Yeo’s.
He is an advocate for sustainability who has been driving various green and innovation projects at Sino’s developments for a more sustainable built environment. In 2024, Sino Group attained the highest five-star rating in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark Real Estate Assessment and was named one of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies by Time. The deputy chairman also announced that that Sino Land’s net-zero targets were validated by corporate climate action organisation Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
He is also committed to heritage conservation, establishing the Hong Kong Heritage Conservation Foundation in 2008 and overseeing the revitalisation of historic buildings including Tai O Heritage Hotel in Hong Kong and The Fullerton Heritage in Singapore.
Daryl Ng founded the Hong Kong Innovation Foundation in 2018, supporting scientific and technological innovation with everything from educational programmes for children to sandbox platforms to help technology companies.
His community undertakings also include the establishment of the Hong Kong Community Foundation to promote positivity and care in the community as well as the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation to promote and deepen ties among Hong Kong, the mainland and the ASEAN.
Daryl Ng is president of Hong Kong United Youth Association, a member of the Board of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, a member of the Advisory Panel of Cyberport, a member of the Council of the University of Hong Kong, a member of the Court of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a Member of the National Heritage Board of Singapore. A member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, he is the holder of the Silver Bauhinia Star and the honour of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite of France.

Sino Group launched the Generations Connect initiative in 2022 in an attempt to connect the elderly with the youth, in order to provide emotional support to them in the midst of the pandemic. In 2021, Sino Group offered a flat at one of its Hong Kong developments, valued at HK$10.8 million, as a prize in a lucky draw to encourage people to get Covid-19 vaccines.
