Born in Canada, Daniel Wong has lived in Hong Kong, Taiwan, London and Milan. A graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, he worked for Alexander McQueen after completing his studies. Later, he decided he wanted to explore new horizons, and enrolled at the Istituto Marangoni Fashion and Design School in Milan to pursue a master’s degree. He caught the eye of Versace during this time and became their chief print designer after completing his diploma. Daniel has created more than 10 collections for Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks, and has designed for many celebrities, artists and singers, including Anna Wintour, Heidi Klum and Halle Berry. He was also invited to customise exclusive garments for the world tour of musician and fashion icon Lady GaGa. In 2018, by adhering to the idea that design has no limitations he cooperated with W Taipei Hotel to launch the WILD YEN afternoon tea, and carried out a crossover collaboration with Garmin, designing limited edition watch straps for its fēnix 5 Plus watch.
