Property and gaming mogul Daisy Ho is following in her illustrious father’s footsteps

Daisy Ho is the chairman and executive director of SJM Holdings, succeeding her father, legendary casino boss Stanley Ho. SJM Holdings, the oldest player in Macau’s gaming industry and the only one to originate there, had a big year in 2021, opening the Grand Lisboa Palace, its first integrated resort in the Cotai district.

Working alongside her older sister, Pansy, Daisy Ho is also a director of related company STDM, and deputy managing director and chief financial officer of Shun Tak Holdings. She is also a dedicated contributor to public bodies: she is chairman of the Hong Kong Ballet, as well as vice chairman of the Po Leung Kuk and honorary vice president of The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association. Her other roles have included vice president of the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong, fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors, member of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and vice president of the Macao Association of the Building Contractors and Developers.

She has two daughters, Beatrice and Gillian.
