How can we creatively upgrade traditional ceramics, turning them into contemporary design works that capture the imaginations of consumers? With an extensive creative background and foresight in design, Cyndii Yu has done just this with ACERA. She boldly integrated avant-garde and fashion elements to create vivid porcelain to rid ceramics of their stereotyped image and cooperated with the Italian design company HDG. ACERA has won many international design awards, including the iF Design Award 2015, Red Dot: Best of the Best 2016 and the golden European Design Award 2017. With her help, ACERA has flourished at important events all over the world, including Milan Design Week and Maison & Objet Paris, and has entered the retail spaces at two world-class department stores: La Rinascente in Milan and Saks Fifth Avenue in New York, with its jointly designed limited-edition products.
