Founder and CEO, EasyParcel
Clarence Leong founded EasyParcel back in 2014 to enable customers to book deliveries with multiple established courier companies at competitive prices. In 2017, Leong also launched Pgeon, a last-mile delivery option that offers customers the choice of collecting their parcels at a convenience store closest to their homes.
EasyParcel not only innovated its logistic solutions to allow for paperless shipping labels, it also assisted freelance drivers who lost their jobs during the pandemic and women entrepreneurs in parcel deliveries.
Leong started his career as a material-science aerospace engineer in the UK before deciding to return to Malaysia to become an entrepreneur.The Penang native founded two startups before striking gold with EasyParcel.
EasyParcel has more than one million users including SMEs, with an average of 100,000 deliveries daily, and has a presence around Southeast Asia.
