Shrewd businessman Ciliandra Fangiono continues to bring success to his father’s palm-oil company First Resources, making him one of the youngest billionaires in Indonesia

Ciliandra Fangiono is an Indonesian businessman and the chief executive officer of First Resources, a leading palm-oil company registered in Singapore with plantations across Riau and Kalimantan provinces.

The company was founded by his father, Martias Fangiono, in 1992. The Fangiono family own 85 per cent of the company, with their net worth estimated at US$1.05 billion as of 2020. Fangiono holds both an undergraduate and Master’s in Economics from Cambridge University.

During his time in the UK, Fangiono won the PriceWaterhouse Book Prize. Before joining his family’s business, he worked at Merrill Lynch in Singapore in the investment banking division.
