Christopher Chan is the managing director of Fantastic Natural Cosmetics, better known as Fancl. He has been the Asia distributor for the leading Japanese cosmetics brand for 25 years, first bringing it to Hong Kong in 1996 and popularising it around the region; it now has more than 250 outlets across Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan and Singapore. He has also made his mark on Hong Kong’s F&B sector, as founder and CEO of the French restaurants Épure and Arbor, as well as opening branches in the city of legendary French patisserie Dalloyau, which has more than 300 years of history.


A council member of the Hong Kong Management Association, Chan also supports a range of charities, including the First Initiative Foundation, the Hong Kong Ballet, the Changing Young Lives Foundation, while he is a director of Le French May arts festival and a member of the Hong Kong PolyU Foundation Governing Committee.


Christopher Chan is married to Michelle Ma-Chan, with whom he owns his company. They have one daughter, Cheryl.
