The innovator is empowering hands-on STEAM learning in underserved classrooms
Chong Ing Kai co-founded Stick ’Em with Huh Dam Adam, Tew Jing An and Chong Kai Jie in 2020 at age 17 to break barriers in STEAM education. Using chopstick kits, alongside a companion app, he teaches kids to build robots and other machines. His mission is to make hands-on learning possible anywhere. Stick ’Em has reached 5,500 students and 1,000 educators in places from rural Uganda to Malaysia’s floating villages, and is expanding to Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and India.
