Since joining the Akram Khan Company in 2012, she has worked with many outstanding dancers and choreographers, including Fang-Yi Sheu, who has influenced her the most; Chou Shu-Yi; and even artist Cai Guo-Qiang. In 2017, Ching-Ying performed Karma in the Cloud Gate Theatre with choreographer Liu Kuan Hsiang. The following year, she choreographed solo dance Condor, based on The Vulture And The Little Girl, a photograph that won the Pulitzer Prize, which presented in 50 minutes the stories and images in the photograph, as well as her thoughts of her dead father via her father’s love song for her mother.
