Cheung Leong is the executive director of charities and community at The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Hong Kong’s largest charitable donor and one of the world’s top ten. He has been in the role since 2014, before which he was an operating partner with Bain Capital, the managing director of global sourcing and supply chain at clothing manufacturer Esquel, founder and CEO of internet education company CampusAll, and a senior consultant at Boston Consulting.

Alongside his Jockey Club role, he is the co-chair of the Hong Kong chapter of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network. He is also the co-founder and chairman of social enterprise RunOurCity, which aims to transform young people’s lives through distance running, and has so far impacted more than 10,000 youths.

Leong also serves on the Hong Kong government’s Elderly Commission and on the Commission on Poverty’s Community Care Fund task force, and is an adjunct professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
