If there’s one way to describe Chet Chetchotisak, it is that he is a free thinker—one who doesn’t fear experimentation or change. He is the brainchild behind 72 Courtyard, an open-plan mall in Thonglor featuring the hottest food and entertainment venues sprawled across two levels and communal courtyards. The urban escape offers a range of international restaurants, including Asian-fusion buns from Little Bao (Hong Kong), along with speakeasy lounges such as Uncle, and the open-air beer garden Beer Belly. Additionally, it also houses BEAM, Thailand’s first proper nightclub with minimal lighting, advanced audio-visual systems, and a Body Kinetic dancefloor that vibrates to the beat. BEAM has been listed on Mondoro Awards, and have hosted a music festival, BEAMFEST 2017, with a lineup that involves top artist such as Flight Facilities, A$AP Nast, and Cashmere Cat. “We are giving people more reasons to be celebratory. I hope that’s a good thing,” he says. The entreprenuer has been invited to speak at events such as Bangkok Rising 2016.
