Cheryl turns the exploitative business model of the nail salon industry on its head with her two socially conscious establishments. The Social Space combines a nail salon with a fair trade retail area, while at The Nail Social, which was recognised as a Champion of Good by Singapore’s National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre in 2018, underprivileged women are employed and given training, with the aim of helping them secure their financial future.
