Cheryl Leung is the Hong Kong designer putting Chinese fashion codes on the global map
Cheryl Leung founded her fashion brand Sau Lee in 2014 based on an instinct that Chinese style was establishing its rightful place on the global fashion stage. The Hong Kong-based womenswear label transforms Chinese sartorial codes—cheongsams, pipa knots, mandarin collars—into contemporary designs and has a devoted global following, with fans ranging from actors Gemma Chan and Jamie Chung to fashion influencer Alexandra Leclerc, wife of Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc, whose custom Sau Lee cheongsams at the 2026 Chinese Grand Prix became one of this year’s most talked-about fashion moments.
Don’t let other people decide what you wear. When you feel good in your own style, it shows—and that is what gives you the confidence to look your best.
