Chen Yu Tsai

Chairman, Homax Development Corporation

Chen Yu Tsai makes a name for himself through his own real estate business, Homax Development Corporation

It’s no small feat following the footsteps of Tsai Wan Lin, whose Cathay Life Insurance made him the richest man in Taiwan until his passing in 2004. In 2010, Tsai Wan Lin’s youngest son, Chen Yu (T.Y.) Tsai, transferred his shares to his brothers, Hong-tu and Cheng-ta, and struck out on his own with Homax Equity.

The company, which makes real estate investments, owns such prime properties as the Shin Kong Dunnan Building, the Xinyi Chief Mansion, and the V-Park in the Neihu Office Building.
