Furong founded his Xiamen-based studio Wuu in 2014 and the following year was named an Emerging Chinese Designer at Design Shanghai. He designs contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories while exploring the boundaries of commonplace materials, particularly concrete and brass. Wuu has been invited to landmark exhibitions such as London’s 100% Design and Milan Design Week.
