Chen Anqi

Angel Chen excels at designing lively, unrestrained clothes by innovatively applying colour, concepts and fabrics that combine boldness and rebellion with romance and delicacy, always adding her unique aesthetic taste to tailoring and fabric matching. Angel graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the UK in 2014. Her graduation project appeared in UK Vogue, Evening Standard and Time and was named by i-D magazine among the year’s Top 5 graduation projects. Angel worked for Marchesa, Alexander Wang and Vera Wang before founding her eponymous brand Angel Chen, going on to win Fashion Scout’s coveted Ones to Watch award. Angel Chen was first discovered by the shop DONG/LIANG and later won an award in Lane Crawford’s New Designer Competition. The brand is now stocked in more than 30 well-known retail outlets around the world including Lane Crawford and Galeries Lafayette.
