The founder of the region’s largest sports-media brand has launched ONE Lumpinee, Muay Thai’s most prestigious event series
Chatri Sityodtong is the founder, chairman and CEO of One, Asia’s largest global sports-media platform that is based in Singapore and broadcasts to more than 150 countries around the world. Through its signature sports properties One Championship and One Esports, One is rooted in the spheres of martial arts and gaming, respectively. Today, One Championship is considered the largest mixed martial arts (MMA) association in Asia.
He is also the founder of Evolve MMA, a chain of martial arts academies in Singapore, whose roster includes prominent MMA champions. For his contributions to the sport, Chatri was presented with a special award and honoured as one of the top 20 most influential teachers of Muay Thai by the government of Thailand in 2024.
A disciple of ‘Kru Yodtong (Yodtong Senanan), Chatri intends to continue the late Muay Thai teacher’s intention to pass on and promote Muay Thai internationally. To this end, ONE Championship has collaborated with the historic Lumpinee boxing stadium for a weekly Muay Thai event series called ONE Lumpinee. Launched in early 2023, ONE Lumpinee aims to bring Muay Thai to a global audience by broadcasting high-level fights featuring both Thai and international fighters, combining the prestige of traditional Thai boxing with the production quality and media reach of ONE Championship.
