It is uncommon for young designers under 30 to be able to say that her accessories have been worn by celebrities like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd. Chanyaporn has also worked with Lady Gaga’s former stylist, Nicola Formichetti of Mygler. Better known as O, she started at 15, studying at Central Saint Martin’s London. Launching her eponymous jewellery brand in 2014, her visibility was buoyed by shows at London Fashion Week, and her label was rapidly picked up by fashion magazines and boutiques around the world. Due to her vibrant personality and signature style, O’s face has also become highly recognizable. The successful young designer, who divides her time between Bangkok and London, is highly learned, drawing inspiration for her creations from the likes of William Shakespeare and Francis Bacon, her all-time favourite painter whose works keep her endlessly intrigued. Despite her accomplishments, O doesn’t believe she’s there yet. Demonstrating one of the best traits of a millennial, her ambitious dreams are the ultimate guiding force for her daily life and work.
