Fighting climate change through sustainable development

Chang Liang-yi is proof that youth is not wasted on the young. A prolific advocate of sustainable development, Chang is currently the Asian Managing Director of 350.ORG, a global climate movement founded in the United States in 2008. Today, it is an international group collaborators, organizers, and volunteers fighting for a fossil-free future.

Chiang leads 350.ORG’s operations in Asia, among other similar endeavours. He is a representative to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. He is also the founder of advocacy group Taiwan Youth Climate Coalition, the very first youth environmental NGO in Taiwan, which, through Chiang, has been a prolific contributor to international dialogues and conventions on climate change.

Chiang is also part of design and urban planning consultancy Plan B. Previously, he worked for multiple NGOs and was part of global sustainability initiatives such as the United Nations Climate Change Conference and the 2041 Antarctic expedition project.
