Ya-Man returned after studying in the UK to join her father at the Yuimom Group. She first led planning at the Kaohsiung Silks Club before taking on the overall design and remodelling of the Kinma Military Hostel into contemporary art space Alien Art Centre, which has since become a Kaohsiung landmark.
