Carvey Maigue

Carvey Maigue has found a novel and rather brilliant way of further unlocking the power of solar energy. His technology company AuReus has created a new material, made from waste, which converts UV light into renewable energy. By upcycling waste materials, specifically crops, his invention can help enable a waste-free world and fight climate change. Carvey’s design won him the inaugural James Dyson Award for sustainability in 2020.
