Founder and creative director, Halo Halo
Banig is a traditional Filipino way of weaving used in floor mats, placemats and bags. Cara Limjap saw the beauty of the craft and made it high-end, reproducing the style with modern lines. Her brand Halo Halo has had trunk shows in Paris and pop-ups around Manila, where its boutiques have queues around the block. A staple of bazaars like ArteFino and MaArte, Halo Halo has taken a traditional aesthetic and made it modern.
