Few stars from the bygone era of blogging have been able to parlay their success quite like Camille Co-Koro

The year is 2011. The smash hits of Adele and Bruno Mars dominate the charts. Instagram, not yet owned by the company formerly known as Facebook, is a fledgling tech startup. Lookbook.nu is still a thing. It’s in these heady, confusing times that Camille Co-Koro starts a blog, mostly about fashion and her personal life. There are thousands, maybe millions of others like her—creative people seeking an online outlet—but she’s one of the few who manages to find success as a blogger in the Philippines.

It’s even more uncommon for a blogger from that era to parlay success into the social media age. Which is why Co-Koro, who’s still a prominent social media personality on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok in 2021, is a rarity. Her longevity on the scene can be attributed to her candour on social media—her openness to share her personal life honestly, including her family life with husband Joni Koro and their daughter Sienna. But it may also be chalked up to her prevailing love for fashion and style. Now, she also runs Curio Cavern, a Scandinavian-inspired furniture store, and The Canton Club, a restaurant.
