Everything about 40-year-old author and journalist Blue is so darned hip: from his unique name to his rakish sense of style, Blue just oozes effortless edge. The former fashion editor of Philippine Tatler also enjoyed creative stints with Hong Kong Tatler, Singapore’s August Men and Amica. A prolific writer, Blue has contributed to the South China Morning Post, Forbes.com, and the Huffington Post. It was, in fact, through his Huffington Post column, Conversations, that he closed a book deal with Sky Horse Publishing in New York and published Conversations: Up Close and Personal with Icons of Fashion, Interior Design, and Art. He is currently Creative Director of Blue Carreon Home, a curated high-end lifestyle boutique that sells handcrafted Filipino products. Nothing makes this talented individual happier than seeing his decorative accessories in people’s homes. The Hong Kong-based designer opened his first home shop in the Philippines in 2014. His store philosophy is “a welcoming space, filled with great interior design ideas, and a wealth wonderful gifts and lifestyle products”.
