A visionary creative whose sharp eye and magnetic presence have changed Philippine fashion photography
Prolific fashion photographer BJ Pascual is known for his mastery of lighting, bold aesthetic instincts and capacity to turn ordinary moments into iconic visuals. Educated at Parsons School of Design, Fashion Institute of Technology and International Centre of Photography in New York, he is also a bestselling author and digital creative whose YouTube channel demystifies high‑fashion production.
His work spans global editorial spreads, major campaigns and platforms like Asia’s Next Top Model. His technical expertise and strong work ethic drive a rigorous schedule filled with daily photoshoots and detailed production work.
In 2015, Pascual published his best-selling book PUSH: Muses, Mischief, and How to Make it in Manila, and expanded his storytelling through his YouTube channel. His 570,000+ subscribers tune in weekly for behind-the-scenes insights, creative breakdowns, and interviews with industry peers.
Pascual has also appeared in Season 4 of Asia’s Next Top Model and served as a judge on Drag Race Philippines.
As queer people, self-expression is both survival and celebration—and when we pair that with lifting others up, style stops being just fashion and starts being a movement.
