Benjamin Lee

 

Co-founder and managing partner of Phoenix Property Investors

Mr. Lee is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Phoenix Property Investors. He serves on the firm’s Investment Committee and is also responsible for structuring, capital formation, and the general management of the firm. Mr. Lee has over 35 years of real estate, capital markets and asset management experience.

Lee founded Phoenix in 2002 with his business partner Samuel Chu. Adopting a value-driven approach, the company works with institutional clients such as sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, foundations, university endowments, insurance companies and family offices. Phoenix has managed over US$12.7 billion of gross real estate assets, comprised of investments in more than 130 properties across 18 Asia Pacific gateway cities, including award-wining properties such as Hong Kong’s Gramercy, The Morgan and Tower 535, plus others in locations including Japan, Australia, South Korea, mainland China, Singapore and Taiwan.

Benjamin has three children and supports The Evangel Children's Home. He is a graduate of the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and serve on its Global Leaders Group. Benjamin is also a voting member of the St. Paul’s College Foundation in Hong Kong.
