Augustus Ralph Marshall is the CEO of Digital Nasional Bhd, a special vehicle responsible for Malaysia’s 5G roll-out and implementing Malaysia’s digital-economy blueprint. Famously known as the right-hand man of Malaysian tycoon Tan Sri Ananda Krishnan, Marshall played a key role in helping Krishnan establish Maxis, one of the country’s first telecommunications service providers, and Astro, Malaysia’s only satellite television and radio provider.

Marshall also formerly held directorships in several of his corporations including Usaha Tegas, Astro Holdings, Tanjong PLC and Maxis Berhad.

An associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Marshall has more than 40 years experience in financial and general management. Besides his extensive experience in the corporate world, Marshall also has interests in the F&B sector.
