The way to one’s heart is through their stomach, but it doesn’t hurt to have a good-looking face as well. Arnold captured the public’s attention with his cooking show Catatan Chef Arnold (Chef Arnold Notes), and his MasterChef Indonesia appearances, as a guest chef in season two, then a judge in seasons three and four. He then captured the attention of his wife Tiffany Soetanto at his restaurant NOMZ, where she asked if she could take him away! Born and raised in a culinary-savvy family with two brothers, Arnold’s masterpieces are based on self-learning and a passion for the food industry. His family moved to Sydney in 1999, where he worked in places such as Bills, allowing him to network with acclaimed chefs such as Adriano Zumbo. Arnold then branched out to Jakarta, where he was created the Nest Grill in 2010. In 2014, he opened NOMZ Kitchen and Pastry Jakarta, serving modern comfort food. In 2015, Arnold and his siblings opened KOI Dessert Bar in Sydney. Named Kids of Ike (their mother), KOI now has two locations. In 2017, he opened Monkey’s Corner, a tiny cocktail bar in Sydney, and was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30.
