With one Christian and one Muslim parent, Arizza Ann Nocum knows about the importance of overcoming prejudice. Her organisation Kris For Peace promotes peace and development through education and youth leadership, including scholarships, educational materials, training and disaster relief. It has also implemented Extremely Together Philippines, part of former United Nations secretary general Kofi Annan’s global anti- extremism movement, which has trained over 1,000 young Filipinos and provided grants to 20 youth organisations.
