President Director, Persada Capital Investama
When Indonesian tycoon Benny Subianto passed away in 2017, his empire fell into the able hands of his eldest daughter, Arini. She graduated with a Master of Business Administration from Fordham University, New York in 1998, and stepped into the family conglomerate by taking charge of leading all the businesses under holding company Persada Capital Investama.
Under Subianto’s control are companies in several industrial sectors, ranging from energy and plantations to agriculture. Persada has also expanded its portfolio into health services when it put up the Persada Hospital in Malang, East Java. She is also a Commissioner at Adaro Energy, a mining and coal giant in Indonesia.
Subianto is passionate about education and giving back to her community. Persada Foundation is dedicated to supporting organisations dedicated to providing quality education for Indonesians.
Before fate thrust her into the spotlight, Subianto was pursuing her passion in retail and design. She opened Aksara, a gift shop and bookstore, in 2002 in the Blok M area in South Jakarta. She is also a single mother.
