Anupas	Suwanmongkol

Anupas Suwanmongkol is a patron of the arts and culture, focusing on local art, especially the traditional art of Southern Thailand. He is passionate about and supports art to the extent of establishing a private museum at the C.S. Pattani Hotel to house a vast collection of priceless artifacts. His collection, considered one of the most comprehensive in Thailand, includes a set of royal regalia from the 5th reign, obtained from antique markets abroad.

Currently, he is actively involved in the restoration of several old houses in Pattani to preserve them as cultural heritage sites. This includes the restoration of the ancestral home of nobleman Baan Khun Phithak Raya that was built in 1917; for this, the house received a UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2021. Anupas Suwanmongkol’s dedication to the arts and cultural preservation reflects his commitment to ensuring that these treasures are safeguarded for future generations.
