As far as versatility goes, Anngee Neo has played every card from the artist handbook: from plates to murals, tote bags to children’s books. She has illustrated a book by the late President S R Nathan called The Crane and the Crane and is the talent beyond the Chew and Chia Shao Wei’s award-winning book, The Rock and the Bird. After it’s publication it won Best Young Adult Title for Singapore Book Awards in 2016 and the Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award in 2015. Most recently, she illustrated the children’s novel The Mermaid Who Became a Champion about Paralympian Yip Pin Xiu.
