Ann Huang

Founder, Pick Food Up

 

Huang Yinxuan graduated from the department of entomology at National Chung Hsing University and from the Institute of Marine Biology at Sun Yat-sen University, and studied at the University of Gastronomic Science in Italy. Seeing that too much food is wasted, she established Pick Food Up to promote the use of leftovers. She uses fair-trade and organic food ingredients that may be wasted to make special snacks offered for outside catering, bazaar stalls, project cooperation. To gain more experience, she spent time at zero-waste restaurant SILO.
